Attorney Information

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco has been approved by the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees and Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an agency's service.

Our pre-filing counseling program is available in a combination of web-based or printed self-study and telephone or in-person counseling. The fee for pre-filing counseling is $50.

The debtor education program is available via web, through a combination of printed self-study and telephone review, and in group classes in the San Francisco Bay Area. The fee for the service is $35.

Client fees may be waived if the consumer’s household income is less than 150% of the poverty level for their family size. Documentation may be required.

Payments for Services

Your clients can pay us directly for the education and certificate, or you can establish an account with us and we'll bill you directly.
