Make a Payment
 Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco accepts several methods of payment for bankruptcy counseling and education.
The fee for pre-filing counseling is $50. The fee for pre-discharge education is $35. Please be sure to pay the correct amount for the service you have received in order to receive the proper certificate of completion.
- Debit Card
We accept payments via debit card – an ATM card that bears the Visa or MasterCard logo. We do not accept credit card payments – the transaction will not go through with a credit card.
- Electronic Checking Account Debit
We will automatically draft the funds from your checking account. Please have a check available to provide us the account and routing information.
- Money Order
To pay via money order, please mail it to:

- Attorney Account
If your attorney has an account with us and has given you a Firm Code so that we will bill the law office for your program, please call us at and provide us that code: 800-777-7526.
Hardship Waiver:
In cases of financial hardship, we will waive the fees for service. Specifically, if your household income is less than 150% of the poverty level for your family size, the fee will be waived. Documentation may be required. To discuss having your fee waived, call 800-777-7526.
